Privacy
In short: the website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising. The game works without an account and keeps your progress under a random, anonymous player ID. Our hosting provider Cloudflare processes your IP address for technical reasons.

Visiting the website and hosting
The website (all195.com) and the game (play.all195.com) are hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes the connection data needed to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse: IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser and device details and the page you came from. We do not analyse this data ourselves. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the site securely and quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process data in the USA; according to Cloudflare it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Cloudflare's data processing agreement applies.
Fonts and external links
We serve our fonts ourselves; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other services. Only when you click a link to another site, for example to a data source, do you connect to that site, and its privacy policy applies.
The game
The game works without an account. When you first play, it creates a random player ID on your device. Under that ID our server (Cloudflare D1) stores your games (questions, answers, times and scores), your leaderboard entries and achievements and, if you choose one, your nickname, which is shown on leaderboards. With a recovery code you can move your progress to another device. We use this data to run the game, show leaderboards and keep them fair (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). It stays stored while you play; we delete it when you ask us to.
Storage in your browser
The game keeps your player ID, your learning progress and settings such as sound on or off in your browser's local storage. The website itself stores nothing. No cookies are set. You can delete these entries at any time in your browser settings; your progress on this device is then gone unless you saved a recovery code.
Protection against bots and abuse
To keep bots off the leaderboards, the game uses Cloudflare Turnstile when a game starts, which checks your browser and IP address to tell people from bots. To stop runaway requests, our server counts requests per IP address for up to one minute; we do not store the IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in fair leaderboards and a working service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your address and your message to answer it (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once the matter is closed, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to the email address above; for game data, tell us your player ID or recovery code. If you think we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Austrian data protection authority: Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
